Cadets participate in a wide range of exciting activities run by our qualified volunteer staff and senior cadets. Within your time in the Squadron you will have the opportunity to take part in activities that your friends will only dream of such as flying, shooting and outdoor activities. At the same time, you will develop yourself, grow in confidence and gain qualifications whilst having the time of your life.
The Squadron meets on Monday and Wednesday evenings as well as being involved in attending camps, trips and activities on many weekends.
Who are Air Cadets and What Do They Do?
- National youth organisation for young people sponsored and supported by the Royal Air Force.
- Promote and encourage among young people a practical interest in aviation & the RAF.
- Provide training which will be useful in both service and civilian life.
- Foster the spirit of adventure & develop the qualities of leadership & citizenship.

Squadron Staff
All staff at Squadron level are volunteers. The majority have been cadets themselves or have previous service experience.
The unit is run by Commissioned Officers, Adult NCOs, Civilian Instructors and Cadet NCOs. All staff are Enhanced DBS checked & undergo regular safe guarding training.
